Socks5 proxy slow or not working

Everytime i add a new proxy on firefox, it goes REAL slow or it wont work at all and keeps on loading... I tried around 50 proxys, they all was slow or not working.
Any idea why this happen? And does someone has any idea where i can get good socks5 proxies?

try the Tor network, a bit slower than usual but it works.

I do have the TOR network, but i heard it's not 100 percent anonymously.
